Mississippi Delta | Been several years since we had cotton, but I always thought that a picker that would unload like a silage cutter would be nice. You could just blow the cotton into a boll buggy running right along side of it, then it could take the cotton to the builder. Seems to me there would be a lot of pluses to this, lighter picker, picker has to stop for nothing, etc. I guess it would be a problem when you had to open up a field, but after that they could roll on. Just a thought. | |
