The risk of explosion is almost non-existant as the odds of getting the exact mixture needed for it to spark off is about 1 in a billion or more.

I'll take my chances in burning #1 with a gallon of gas added to the tank for the small amount we use our Knipco rather than running 40 miles to spend $8 per gallon on Kerosene that's needed now not two hours from now.
