You don't need to "hide" anything. Just write it off. If you get audited, be prepared to show your auditor some sort of documentation of using this "piece of farm machinery" in your business. He may want you to "adjust" your deduction based on your personal use, but probably will not disallow all of it. Remember in a tax audit, you are guilty untill proven innocent.
