SC ND
Been thinking of you. I only have a dozen or so on the ground so far, but between last year’s calving season and this year so far, I’ve probably lost 10 years of life. Lot of days I’d like to back the trucks up and send em. Last night (and tonight), I really don’t think they’d stand a chance outside. Mid March is not suppose to be like this. I think we are averaging like 12 degrees below normal for the month of March. Snow everywhere, wind blowing, blowing roads shut. It’s mentally exhausting. I’m currently shopping for a snowmobile, as that’s gonna be the only way to check em come April 1 when majority start. You can move as much snow as you’d like, but for some reason, mothers like snowy ground. Neighbor just sold out. At his age, he’s tired of it. If he were to ask if I’d like more pasture, pretty damn sure I’d pass.
