My first thought was NO, but you make some valid points about the planter being one piece in reality. the point you made about the NAV being close the the truetracker and sudden shifting is right on the money IMO. but after some more consideration, the antenna is the location, the NAV only measures tilt * and etc
The height of the antenna measurements are critical for where the frame is located on the ground. as a comparison, with the triangulations of the globe to ground the planter bar side to side makes a difference in the left to right position.
if you put the NAV on back, I would recommend putting the cable in the frame then the NAV can easily be moved form one implement to another. we mount the NAV with four bolts on a seeder and on the planter, two different profiles, same connection at tractor, GPS wire connected. The switching of NAV is easy takes about 15 minutes at most, get another antenna if cheap enough depending on brand of course.
once you really think about it, the degree angle side to side and forward and back is the same anywhere on planter frame, isn't it.
Only detriment might be damage from something in hitch/tongue area

edit: make double sure the NAV is perfectly square where you have it in relation to planter frame and side to side and front to back you dont want it off any Degrees at all, will throw it out of sync in the set up portion get the correct NAV profile. looks like yours will be with the ribs foward and connections down. on our planter ribs are rearward, connections down.
