I am hoping to speak with anyone in Eastern Idaho who has grown millet or sorghum as grain crops. Anyone here?

I understand they are highly sensitive to frost, which is my concern. When to plant.. how were yields for you?

Not even in the same universe, but if you're worried about frost millet (I'm presuming Proso) will come off WAAAY before Sorghum. Down here I was planting it the first week of June (it could have been earlier) and harvesting it in the early part of September typically. Sorghum (mid-earlies typically) goes in about the same time, but comes off in October potentially November depending on the fall.
