This is a 2005 Sportsman with a in line shift pattern. The bike was stuck in reverse and finally it shifted forward and into neutral to low to high. Now it shifts into all gears but when it is in high the shift lever falls all the way forward. The linkage shaft in the transmission is moving with the lever so it is not a linkage problem to the transmission. Was wondering what the problem might be and the possible fix.
