Land will seldom pay for it self. If it would I'd own it all. (ha ha) . I have given 1,000 an acre for land here and not sure if it will get paid for . I dont know how they do it. But Id rather have land then new equipment. So I farm with 20-30 year old equip. and use the little profits to buy land. Not to sell. To own and let my kids have a chance to farm too.
