I believe that he only slows the flow from the water tank when he opens the valve to add the chemical, I have not checked for the specific gravity of individual chemicals but I would think that distributors would have this info readily available. I have several customers that have gone to using a scale to measure the chemical and they would not do it any differently anymore. Just build a platform to the size that fits your needs and put the load cells underneath it.
