ecmn
Wheat behind corn is a great opportunity to bring diseases into wheat

residue staying on the surface for too long is a soil problem not a residue problem. Living soil will have big bugs like worms and microorganisms that will take that residue down fairly quickly.

If you dig into the soil how many worms per square foot do you find? With a penetrometer what kind of level of compaction is there?
