Depending on your quality vs. tonnage preferences, 2-3 cuttings are realistic. In NW Iowa you will never reliably get 4 cuttings. Actually, I have never gotten it to come back after the second cutting, even when there were favorable temps/moisture and it was cut/chopped before a frost in mid September.
