My vet will defer young bulls and ask for a re-test in 4 weeks. He is careful to remind me that a bull successfully passed BSE today but may fail next week. Lastly, he will remind me that I should watch my bull successfully breed a cow.
My thought is the vet has suffered backlash when breeding has gone poorly after a passing BSE.
