Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have such a system in my much older STX-450. I'm not certain of the model year of my tractor since I bought it on a retirement auction. My tractor did not come with any auto steer components from the factory and they were installed by someone prior to my ownership.

My tractor has an external steering valve mounted under the hood. It is mounted on a bracket and literally has hydraulic and electrical connections. Do you have such a valve? I would think it should be visible.

My 750 is mounted on a Ram mount on the right side ahead of the Command arm and the Nav II controller is mounted under the buddy seat. There is a Trimble angle position sensor mounted at the articulation point. An Ag antenna is mounted on the cab roof. My wiring was all added "after the fact" so it may be different but equivalent to your tractor which may include some of this wiring from the factory.

I installed one of these systems myself in a Deere tractor that was not steer ready several years ago. It used what was referred to as the "octopus cable" which contained various branches to connect to power, the angle position sensor, the Nav II, the remote engage switch and the display. If your tractor is supposedly auto steer ready, then I would assume that a factory equivalent of my octopus cable may be present.

This probably hasn't helped you much. You may have a steering valve which may or may not be obvious. If the steering position sensor is present at the articulation point, I would guess auto steer was used in the past but parts (display, GPS antenna and Nav II) have been removed. Hopefully the steering valve is still present. If a previous owner removed parts of the system, it certainly should be possible to reinstall one and utilize what is still there. Good luck.
