Minnesota | The front wheels on the TMII/TM200 aren't supposed to carry much weight....just keep it from gouging if it goes in a dip. We did have to rebuild the pivot part on ours, but we also spray 32% with a boom mounted on the cultivator. We had a machine shop rebuild the pivots. The older TMIIs have rigid stabilizer wheels. If you get a big size cultivator and turn with it in the ground, it can bend the rims on the stabilizer wheels. Also, the 5 section models might have fold cylinders on the front and rear frames or it might just have them on the back. I think it depended on the machine size and also if it had rolling baskets.
I've had a TMII and two different TM200s and they have all been solid machines.
We have a 2410 chisel plow...the linkage on the front pivot wheels is all worn out from not very many acres....so, that's not a perfect system either
