Subject: RE: Educate me on field cultivators..”diggers”

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I got a bit bigger "horse" a few years back so I was in the market for a used Field Cultivator of around 50'.

My local CIH dealer did not have any field cultivators that caught my interest. One of their sister stores did and I drove to that location. The salesman there was very helpful although any deal would be between my local dealer and myself. I believe he indicated that certain sizes of the TigerMate 200s had a basic fold or a more deluxe fold arrangement. The one they had on the lot had the deluxe arrangement which he felt was necessary. It has a cylinder in the front and back that help fold the inner wing sections.

This model has the basic depth adjustment and did not have the fancy auto depth arrangement which would have involved a special valve in the tractor. I made the deal and they towed it to my local CIH dealer. Since they are close, I literally drove one of our tractors to their lot and pulled it home. I have been happy with my choice. The 50' width seems to be a good match for my STX-450 Quad.
