Don't forget, when you are done, Nebraska property taxes will run as high as $100 an acre for good irrigated ground with a pivot.
Bit of trivia: Where I live, the well was sunk in 1969 or 1970. The water level is now 30 feet closer to the surface a couple years ago, then when the well was dug.
