Wisconsin | Texas, Colorado, maybe western Nebraska are running low on water. Parts of Nebraska are over a huge gravel aquifer with the water very close to the surface. It won't dry up without major climate change over a long time. Similar to the parts of WI that are irrigated, deep sand and water levels under 50', won't run dry until after the river is dry for a couple years. There's a lot of sky is falling talk out there that has no connection to reality. | |
