swmn		+1 for hagedorn. Ran a 5290 for 10 years, did shell out beater gearbox one time. Currently on a 3 year old 5440, pretty bullet proof spreaders.

Only issue is the paddles don't cover the edge of verticle auger-wearing out the auger in front of the bolt holes for the paddles.
