I did it to machines under warranty when doing services on farms, to be absolutely sure hydros were purged of air.
You don't need a gauge. Pull ECU fuses and crank for 15 seconds, let rest for 60, repeat 3x. Plug fuses in and start. Run forward and back slowly, turn steering, work brakes, raise and lower boom.
Shut down, check oil and top off. 10w30 only, then back to work.
