SE PA | For the 2000 and 3000 series Kinze planters use the small 60 cell milo plate. There is also a milo plate for the newer Kinze Edge Vac planters. Set the seed population to plant a spacing of 3" on the row (you have to check the book in order to set up the right sprockets). That will roughly equate to 2lbs per acre on 30" row spacing and 4lb per acre on 15" row spacing. Alot of guys who have 15" planters are putting in a legume such as peas in the off rows. Or if you have manure they are even using rye or wheat with the same plates. Speare Seeds in Harriston, ON handles the seed.
