Latimer Iowa | Where about are you located? It would help determine barn styles if you are in Florida in Canada. I have not farrowed before but remember my dad saying they had to switch to raised deck crates in farrowing house because of disease in early 1970's. For 250 head a would think some sort of bedding system would be better then slats and that small of a pit. I am not a fan of partial slats. It was the worst of both when we had a 400 head partial slat barn. | |
