I had a 6410 a while back, it was acting the same. After putting new injectors and pump on. I found there's a sensor that changes the timing or something when it's below a certain temp. I unplugged it and it never had issues every again. I just plugged it in when it was cold there on after.
Holy smokes, that could be it. It did it far more warming up than at running temp, but sometimes still did it when warm.
