I can't see good enough for sharpening bits especially smaller bits. On our regular shop bench grinder I have a courser stone on one end and a wire brush on the other end. It gets used a lot for dressing the sharp edges on pieces of stelEl cut off with the band saw. I never have a good flat stone and if I kept it dressed flat I would wear them out too fast. I really need another bench grinder in the shop but don't have a spot for it
