Subject: RE: 4WD for snow removal?

Townsend, Montana
I have an 8440 I picked up dirt cheap with a bad engine that I put a Degelman blade on that I got from tmrand. Put a set of diamond tread tires off a combine (same combine I got the donor engine out of) on it and a set of chains. Best unit I have ever used for moving snow and I have less than $5K total in it ($7k if you count the chains).

Dad has an 814 Cat wheel dozer that is pretty slick for snow as well, but it's a little slow on the road.
