Subject: RE: 4WD for snow removal?

I bought an 1800 Massey on BigIron this past spring, mainly because it had a 12’ Leon hydraulic angle blade that is in excellent shape. 4 new radial tires with fluid. Thing flat out moves snow better than anything I’ve ever used before, the angle blade makes this possible. It has a large adjustable skid plate on each end that I wouldn’t want to be without. It will still windrow some gravel though. Thinking about putting a set of V bar type chains on front tires for added traction on ice. So far I haven’t needed them, but also haven’t had any long stretch’s of 2’ drifts either.
