wife uses whole egg but could just use yolk

My wife uses the entire egg. She beats the eggs with a mixer so it is well mixed before adding to the recipe.
Most such recipes call for just the yolk, but my wife just uses the whole egg.
The yolk is the fat and nutritious part with the vitamins and minerals. The egg white is mostly protein.
