North Central Illinois | I got frustrated by university parking tickets for pretty petty things when I was a student. Like the time the parking deck was covered in ice and the lines weren't visible at 8 AM. By noon the salt did it's job and the parking officers wrote tickets for being outside the lines.
Made a visit to the parking office and filled out an appeal form. They didn't throw out the ticket, but reduced the fine significantly.
The best lesson to teach is to call the appropriate office, request reconsideration and then pay according to whatever is finally settled on. | |
