Eastern NE KS | Do you keep spare bulls to backup your picks for turn-out? Have you ever been jammed up over last day bull testing?
I have 4 herd bulls most of that is to accommodate isolated small pastures. In a pinch if one has trouble, i can regroup in different pastures with 3 bulls. I would not be able to find a suitable bull the day of turnout. I could find something to make the cows pregnant. To me, these are 2 very different things.
