I had a White with the 16 row Black Machine bar. It was a poor design in that the outer four rows on each side would dog track. This was worse in No till and would result in not getting good seed trench closing because the units were not running straight. The 12 row planters still had the original design and that is not a problem to the best of my knowledge.
