 | I wish I would have learned what you learned at your age. Would have prevented a lot of problems.
From my research, a person that is currently metabolically healthy and at a healthy weight, should do very well on a 100 grams carbs a day diet. At least most people. There are individual differences in metabolism. 100 grams carbs gives a whole lot more flexibility compared to my much more strict 20 grams or less. But then I am diabetic and totally control my blood sugar with diet, eliminating any need for prescribed insulin or drugs (although a couple months ago I did start taking a half dose of Metformin again).

Had I learned what you have learned earlier in life, I might very well be able to handle a 100 gram carb diet now.

Not that I am complaining about what I am eating now, because I eat very well. It would just make some social settings a little easier with more flexibility.
