South Central Iowa | I wasn't in horrendous shape, but last year wanted to slim down a little. 5'9" 33 years old 190lbs on March 1. Quit drinking Mt Dew and cut back to less than 50 grams of carbs per day. Breakfast of eggs and sausage/bacon/cheese. Lunch of cheeseburgers with no bun. Pork rinds/ almonds for snack. Summer sausage/cheese for supper/tractor snack. Never got hungry, eat your fill. After just a few days it was surprising how little I could eat and feel full. By June 1 I stepped on the scale at 158. Thirty pounds in 90 days by eating eggs, burgers, and summer sausage. WAY more energy. For simplicity of life I went back to eating carbs, but most days still under 100 grams. Still feel good, float between 155-160. Best shape of my life and aim to keep it that way. | |
