North central, IA | My experience - the best time to find them is in the spring on a warm sunny day when the field is in the process of drying out. The areas right over the tile lines will dry out first and you can often see them from above. You might get lucky and find a google earth image that happened to be taken at just the right time. Or even luckier and find one that was shot immediately following the installation of the tile. | |
