E ND | I'm surprised Cat lists anything as a 3" pin, they've used 70MM, 80MM, 90MM in the past (and currently) but I don't ever remember them being anything but an even to the nearest 10MM. What model excavator is it and do you have a quick coupler? Some of those pin grabber quick couplers would hook right up and take out that slack but some won't as long as the pin spread and face spread are right.
I don't think Cat had any off-set pin sizes that small in the past but my memory doesn't necessarily go all the way back to 1990. You had to get into the 30 ton size class with 90MM/80MM or 100MM/80MM pins before they were different sizes. | |
