| After running both a 4830 and now a R4038 for several years , the R4038 is a much better choice. Many improvements especially the booms . Weight distribution, suspension and ride , easier daily servicing . The solenoids for section control are mounted on the booms now , means less solution hoses on the boom and what hoses and wiring are on the boom are much better routed and clamped which helps with chaffed lines . That’s just a short list of many improvements . No grease fittings on boom hinges anymore though and have had to replace a couple bushings. Fairly cheap and easy to do . | |
