I had a mini 14 several years ago. Didn't know it was possible for a gun to be that inaccurate. Couldn't hit a pie plate at 100 yards every time. Depends how you are going to use it. Short range where volume can make up for accuracy, mini 14 or ak would work. Longer range, get an AR. Know why AR's are expensive? Because they are worth it!! Kelly
