Western WI | Here is the fix that I came up with to put more splines on the yoke for more surface area. The front half of an old yoke was machined down for about $35. I tack welded that "collar" on while on the shaft...then heated the yoke and welded it with nickel rod. I did have to run a file down the splines for it to slide properly on transmission input shaft. I also lossened up motor mounts and slid engine ahead about an inch so that I could get the driveshaft in while leaving the yoke as long as possible.
Any questions feel free to ask.
