Maybe mounting on // arms on row units or lift wheel arms on planter wing or main wheels? Maybe two in // so if one malfunctions or rough ground results in false negative the other would still conduct current.

sure seems like it would be easier to place and adjust than rigging a whisker switch or making a bracket to mount a deere button momentary switch.
