I have a 725 on my 4440 and it is a heavy loader for the front axle. My tractor had 10:00 front tires so I bought wider rims and 11:00 tires for the front axle and added cast weights to the rear wheels.

720 is similar to a 148 and a 725 is similar to a 158. I had ran a 148 that my FIL had on a 4030 for years. When I put a loader on my 4240 I knew I wanted more reach so I found a 725 got lucky and the guy I bought it from also had the JD joy stick. I loved that loader on that tractor. Those joy sticks make a nice set up and you don't tie up your outlets. Tractor was used a lot for haying and I never took the loader off. Just would drop the bucket or forks off and rake and bale.

Both are very good loaders, the 725 just has a longer/higher reach. When you’re looking, keep a 721 or 726 in mind as well. You won’t be dissapointed with any of the four.
