Not skid steer mounted, but I can't say I'm impressed with the Diamond boom mower I run at the county. Spends a fair amount of time getting fixed.

Ok there are several I have looked at ,but big question is how big is the Brush?
Small saplings , 2" trees , 4 " 6" If the first then a bushhog type Diamond has real heavy one.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpyLB9B7pYM&t=186s
For 2 " Diamonds Forestry Mulch head https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbutU4DfQZ8
6" you get real pricey IE Fecon ,Rayco Drum head https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LknNuquKs6Q
These also require a big high cap skid steer
I bought a Fecon Crawler? Rayco skid steer with a Drum head it wil cut a 8 inch given time .
Better to cut with a shear then
grind to speed rot . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfpfY9DFhv4 I have a drum not a shredder head.
I charge $150.00 per hour .
IF your pushing it hard will burn over a full tank of fuel in 6 hours.
Stay out of rock and fences .
What i have seen .

The good ones, like Paladin, for example are expensive. Paladin prob makes units for some of the skid steer brand names.

Cheap new ones are in every auction for about $2000. The units like Paladin and units sold by the brand name skid steers are
$4000.
The good names are bringin over $2000 used at auction.

I worked for a dealer that sold products from Paladin under a handful of brand names. They make good stuff, no doubt. It is high priced, parts are even higher and parts availability is slow, very slow. Aambusher makes a decent SSL brush cutter.

Well I am not sure the ebay item is a Kubota in fact.

I would go to the Sweepster or Paladin site and look at the specs and get the weight. Then I would compare that weight to the others.

We have a set of Paladin forks and the body that holds the forks is solid cast steel not angle iron like most. And we have Paladin rock rake and it is amazing how tough it is.

Same thing with grapples. A good one will weight twice as much as a cheap one. We have a cheap one and it has done a lot of work for us but it is getting bent and twisted. We have a burning table and will prob use it as a pattern and burn parts out of metal that is at least 50% thicker.

Yes I realize it's not a Kubota "landpride" but looks like it is built in Alabama and thought someone might know something about them but thanks for the advice :) there our sure a lot of choices out there for skid steer attachments!!

Yep, we bought one a few years ago. It will do a lot of work.
Built tough and they stand behind their products. Good people.

So far very impressed, but don’t have alot of hours on it, likely about a 100 to 150. Takes a large machine, best with high flow hydraulics.

Blue Diamond 60 inch brush cutter is what I have, 3 blades on my cutter.
Standard flow skid steer loader will run it.

I have the standard duty one from CID, and have been very satisfied with it.

The gearbox that came on it burned up within 10 hours, but it had a whine from the beginning. The replacement gearbox has had no issues in 2 seasons. The replacement gearbox was $189 from surplus center. I needed the machine to run and didn't have time to waste with the warranty process. They wanted pictures and then more pictures, etc.

Cost just over $3000 for the 72 inch one. We have been quite happy with it. I keep seeing more things I want to do with it, so my to-do list is getting longer rather than shorter.

Bought one of these

https://www.mtlattachments.com/brush-cutters-1/

Great value, built like a tank, half price of others, very satisfied. You buy direct from the manufacturer, they are busy, not good at answering phone or getting back to you but they will.

I have a Dymax Vortex. It is a beast. Frequently mow down 3-4" trees. Run thru brush and cedar trees like going thru twigs. Most of it is made from 3\8 and 1\2 steel. Cant bend anything on it. I bought mine used for $6K. I think new MSRP price is $10-12K.. Flywheel is very heavy. Weighs about 2000 lbs, so it takes a bigger skid steer to handle the heft.
For the bigger stuff i use my Dymax 14" shear which is also one of the best shears made
