I’m looking at a gehl silage wagon. I heard gehl went out of business. Can you still get parts?

Around here you can on the later models such as the 970s, older 810s are in doubt

yes beaters seem to be most replaced large part. they rust from inside out then shear in half. Aprons aftermarket pto's are common so are most bearings you can see. Gearbox might be questionable but never seen one fail.

Beware if it’s got a gehl tandem running gear too...better options out there...

Like others have said, the beaters on a 970 & 980 are as thick as a coffee can. The 980 beaters will speed up clean out so, it will only take an extra 12 minutes to completely empty a box compared to 20 minutes with the 970 beaters.

100 miles north of the NYC crapper
I wouldn’t think to would be to difficult for anyone with a little talent to build a new beater if needed.

1600 series are H&S wagons. I think 1620, 1640, 1660’s
