Peg Perego kids gator battery mod?

Subject: Peg Perego kids gator battery mod?


East Central Indiana		Kids have a Peg Perego gator to ride around the yard.
They ha e plenty of pedal power too but with 3 kids under 7 years old it gets a good work out.
The battery it came with went bad, got a replacement on off brand replacement on amazon and it went bad.

Decided to get a lawn mower battery the same Waite as the original battery and it charges fast but doesn’t last near long enough

So what’s the best way to get some time out of this thing.

trailer behind with a group 27 marine battery

or whatever size normal battery you can fit in there

central, minnesota		Dad put group 31 out of a truck in the box on the one my kids have. Deep cycle might be better but we had this sitting in the shop

SESD		Buddy put two lawn mower batteries on his kids jeep and you should see the wheelies it does now!

North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana		There may be cause for concern with non sealed batteries such as lawn mower batteries. Read into it more.

East Central Indiana		That was a concern of mine from the beginning that’s why I found one he right size that fits in the battery compartment up front.

Now I’m wondering about a big batter inside a battery box in the bed

SW MN		I use wheelchair batteries from batteries plus and charge them with a 12 volt float charger.
