I have some #2 diesel in a 1000 gal. barrel, (not bio), when I pump some in a clear jar it’s cloudy. When it sets a day it clears up and there’s a cream colored film on the bottom of the jar. Where is the best, affordable place to have it analyzed?

Braham MN.
Put it in the freezer, see if it freezes, or solidifies. If it freezes it's water, if it doesn't, it's Prolly wax. Either way I'd shorten the suction pipe in the tank and burn it up like normal, keep lots of filters on hand.

Illinois
Curious also. I had the same thing this winter and if you dump it out in the snow it's creamy white. I had issues with both tractors that pulled out of this tank

Who ever delivered the fuel to you ,either take them a sample and show them or have them come and take a sample and give you an answer. How long have you had it in the tank?
