They were a pretty good low end mower but the company went out of business. There was a Case IH dealer in one of the Carolina's that I believe bought up all the parts stock.

I bout a 7 ft to mow around barns. It was a poor cutter . You had to have the tractor revved up to even do a moderate job in grass. I replaced it with a woods and it'll cut grass at idle

Dad bought one new 30 years ago. They had put it together with the blades dead on and they would hit. When we got them set a quarter off it did a real nice job. Most of the driveline parts are available at the parts house.

Borrowed a 7' from my Dad that I got to put some parts back into. You can find most parts online. I think the last batch I bought came out of Texas. I have had to have a machine shop make a few pieces as the clutch parts were NLA. There are better mowers out there for the money. Bearings can be found from other sources off measurements.

Bought a 7 ft to replace a 5 ft Covington my dad had. The Covington is still running for a neighbor. Must be getting close to 50 years old. As for the Howse it was the WORST piece of equipment to ever set foot on this farm.
