SW Iowa
Lost the low speed fan in my 4430 cab. Lifted the cab top, the right side fan (setting in the seat) only works on high. Left side fan won't work at all. Using my voltage meter, I have power at the fan when the fan switch is in the Low and High position. I had an extra fan, plugged it in and still no luck. Used the battery charger to check fans on the bench, both work. The compressor will pull in when fan is on Low or High. Where do I look next?
Got an add on fan to help circulate air but pulls hot air off the window. Gonna tint the side windows about 12-18" on the top side of the window to help (costs about $10), louvers are about $400. Love this ole tractor but the AC
ain't the best, especially after running a buddy's 8400. I wish but that's about as close as I'll get to owning one.

On the right side of the tractor, behind the little cover under the door there is a 9 pin (I think) connector. Check that connector for bare wires or burnt pins.
Check all other connectors while your under there.

If it's a 2-speed blower, your left motor is bad. Low speed on those connects the 2 motors in series, so a bad motor will kill both. High is parallel, each gets full voltage. A 3-speed blower has a resistor, but a 4430 shouldn't have that unless it's a replacement cab...

Been a while for me but I'd say you have a switch problem or a grounding problem. High speed uses two power sources...one for each fan...I think the switch actually switches the grounds so that on high, each fan is is powered and grounded separately. On low, each fan is still powered separately but the grounding is running the fans in series thus reducing the speed they run.
Edit to add
I know it sounds weird and I may not had described it well but I went through this very thing with a cab fire rewiring. It's the neg. side you need to be looking at If both motors work on the bench

ApAir.com makes aftermarket parts, and, for full disclosure,,,, I sell them. Their add-on condenser, high capacity evaporator, and high speed fans all help. To help a 'weak' A/C, I put them on in the order listed. If you put them all on, with a Sanden compressor conversion, you'll be able to hang meat in a SGB. Normally we just do the condenser and evaporator, and not the fan(s) unless they are bad.

Thanks
your switch is bad, it is a double stack switch..when in low you are making each blower run on 6 to 7 volts, when in high they both get full voltage...AP air has a replacement switch that makes it a 3 speed with a resistor pack...
