our 4450 came from Germany. Originally semi-built in Waterloo, and final assembly in Mannheim. Did it's tour for about 10 years, and ended back up in South Dakota on a dealer lot.. Then our machine shed. Can't really complain, it was priced 'right' at the time. It came back stateside with steel rear wheels (like bolt on duals use) and zero ballast. Keeps shipping weight to a minimum. Really, the only thing visibly different was the lighting. And the warning decals were of course in German. |
