I was planning on buying a Milwaukee M18 electric grease gun but Napa has Dewlt 20v MAX Li-Ion electric grease guns on sale in April. Both are rated at 10,000 psi and dual rate, but the DeWalt has LED lights. Any opinions as to pro or con for either electric grease guns ??

I have the dewalt and absolutely love it, I put a sure grip end on it and have never had a fitting it wouldn't clear, the led light makes life a lot easier when working in limited light areas like under trucks

Never used a Milwaukee, but we have a 20v Dewalt for a little over a year and really like it.
We have other 20v tools so that was a big factor in that decision. Replaced one of our 18v Lincolns It is balanced better. And seems to have about the same battery life.

i started with milwaukee so i kept with that line when getting a grease gun. i got extra batteries as a promotion with my impact, so i now go with the milwaukee bare tool when adding different tools. can fine them fairly reasonable on ebay.
it seems like the construction trade leans toward dewalt, and mechanical trade is more milwaukee. even my snap-on neighbor is going milwaukee fuel cordless line.

I have a Dewalt 18 volt for several years now, and it has been great til lately. It will not stay primed or suck the grease from the tube. If I pull the plunger handle out and lock and apply pressure to the tube of grease it will pump then and only then.
I wish I could figure out what causes that? Any one know?

Try taking the screen off where the tube slides into the grease gun. I had problems with mine then I cleaned it up and cleaned the screen after that no problems for some reason.
I have lincoln and dewalt and both are nice to have. Like my dewalt for the fact my batteries are the same for all tools

just got a Milwaukee and love it have had Lincoln and they suck and alments there not bad but when you grease 5 yrucks every weekend with 11 axles you go thru grease and grease guns fast

Have both. Milwaukee has the two speed and pump count which i guess comes in handy, but the dewalt 20v seems to go through more tubes per charge then the red one. both are good guns.

I have no experience with the DeWalt but do like my Milwaukee. I'd buy whatever brand of cordless tools your already using so you can swap batteries. For me it's a no brainer I'm 99% all Milwaukee corldless tools so I'm about to change colors now. I'm sure you'd be happy with either.

I have both, the Milwaukee has a light also. The Milwaukee pumps faster and has a rotary dial that you can set to run out a certain number of pumps. The dewalt has a pressure relief that is always opening up an squirting grease everywhere. The Milwaukee has a 2 speed power train and the dewalt has a variable speed trigger. I like the Milwaukee more, but both are a lot better than a Lincoln just because the batteries last so much longer.

I have three Milwaukee grease guns and really like them. Mine all have lights on them as well. I really like the dial to count the number of pumps of grease. Dewalt tools aren't very popular around here, everyone I know have milwaukee tools.

We have both, and Milwaukee wins hands down. Our Dewalt only lasted a few weeks before it had to be sent in for warranty. The Milwaukee has a light, and what is nice, is not only the 2 speed, but you can set your dial for how many shots of grease you want..
