central - east central Minnesota -

Notch is very good, heavy made - small family manufacturer, located in Paynesville/Lake Henry Mn (that'd be more central Mn local).

Jenkins Iron & Steel is very good and relatively new comer, as compared to a few others. Small family owned Mfger.

There's one in ND - advertises in farm magazines and such, but I don't have their info handy at this time.

I have a Jenkins skeleton bucket/grapple and really like it. First one I've had, so take it for what it's worth. Mine is a 78" and weighs about 3x as much as the standard lo-pro bucket does...

Don't be afraid to look around and source items from more than one mfg, maybe not based on price, but overall construction and reviews...MO

Check out CLfabrications and or skid steer solutions seem to be sturdy equipment and decent price. I do own a tree/brush puller from CLfab and it is amazing. Also have done lots of research on Skid steer solutions for a snow blade and if/when I purchase it will most likely be from them.

I have 2 of Jenkins attachments. At the time I was looking, they had the most features I wanted, are heavier built than others I looked at, and stand behind their products. Had a cylinder start leaking on the grapple, and they sent a new cylinder, no questions asked. I have the rock and brush grapple and like it that the ends can be removed for branches and bolted on to pick up rocks. The bucket also has dual grapples, some others are singles.

I just picked up a set of 48" pallet forks from Tomahawk Attachments in Nappanee, IN. They make many types of attachments. At $525 the forks were priced the same as the import forks I almost ordered from Titan. The shipping might be a deal breaker to ND but their quality is worth a look.

Jenkins Iron and steel is one of the best built attachments you can buy, we bought a brush grabble from Kurt and put it on our 7520 jd, will built, very happy.

I have always thought Horst makes very good attachments, running gear, etc... Never owned one. Really like our CLFab tree puller, but like the looks of the Danhuser design a little more. Really like our Anbo grapple also.

We like our Berlon rock bucket. Would be worth checking them out for other attachments as well.

There seems to be attachment manufacturers coming out of the woodwork lately. I can't remember how many different ones were at Big Iron in Fargo, but it was a lot.

Some that come to mind are Sheyenne Tooling (local here in ND, quality built), Haugen (have a warehouse in Casselton), MDS, made down in SD, and Land Pride all make good products from what I've seen. Options are endless.

For pallet forks, I would get the step through kind.

Email in profile is good if you have more questions.

NEND
I've had or used a Notch rock grapple, Erskine grapple rake, and a Lackender Manufacturing brush grapple. They are all made well, check their websites to see what they all look like. Get one with cylinder protectors. We have trouble snagging hoses on all of them, and they're all a little bit of a pain to change. The Lackender one has them buried inside the frame for a ways, which is good, but we broke a fitting right by a cylinder once and it was a little tough to change it. It's tough to avoid snagging the hoses when you're working with branches. But you can sure get a lot done with one, we had a lot of tress blow down last summer and the brush and root grappled were a life saver.

Seems the bobcat attachments have the hyd. lines in the right place.
Bought an off brand pallet fork from the bobcat dealer, and bent it in a u the first time I used it
[tearing out concrete] so got a bobcat pallet fork.
If you buy a grapple make sure the grapple on top has two clamps, it will secure your load better.
Not much help on the other brands.
