Is CaseIH still in the cotton picker business, or did they drop them?
I'd heard a year ago they were finished. Someone asked me last night but I haven't heard anything since a year ago. The Benson plant had layoffs last Spring that would have corresponded to their normal build time.
They still show the Module Express on their US website. 4-row and 6-row basket pickers and the Module Express on their Brazil website. They've removed all things cotton from their Australian website. The USA, Brazil and Australia were the big markets for pickers.

Hlavinka had the 635 as well, so I guess they are planning both. Story son heard is they 'found' 40 sets of drums in a warehouse somewhere and were going to use them to build the pickers as they still had the 635/620 tooling.

I was in Benson MN at the factory before Thanksgiving to tour the sprayer and floater side of factory. I asked the plant manager about cotton picker production and he said that the hadn't made any in a couple of years. He blamed the shift from cotton to corn when corn was $6 plus dollars. I told him that he is going to see that go back the other way and that I been figuring corn vs cotton on my own farm, and it didn't look very promising for corn. I don't remember him saying if any production was planned.
