We purchased a winter project this weekend. It is mostly welding and standard parts. However, it would really be helpful if we could get a rate chart for this old timer. Any of you guys recall a model like this (or manufacturer)? I am thinking maybe an old Willmar?
It has two ID stamps (as shown):
"6 T 1216"
"6TSS1B8"
I imagine from the stamping that it is a 6 ton Stainless Steel but that is about all I have to work with. It does seem unusual to have the drive wheel in the front like this. Maybe that is a clue...
Thanks for any help! Its going to take alot of rod and steel...

It does not look like a Wilmar. Possibly a Tyler, but I've never seen one with drive wheel up front like that. I've got an old Tyler buried in the shed. If I get a chance today, I'll snap a picture of the rate chart on it.

Thanks Jay. This seems different but at least it is better start than a total guess! Seems a gentleman below may have some insight on this item's last home...

Used to be a lot of Pamco spreaders around Ohio when they had a manufacturing facility in Ohio. I remember some of them had the drive wheel in front like that. Pamco still in business in another state.

Yes. This is exactly that spreader. Was it yours? I would greatly appreciate any leads on its type or information. Seems it is an old Hoopes spreader.
Thanks!
