If you are asking about the process of multipasses... Horizontal 1. Lay your root pass 2. Next pass, opposite direction, tie in the root pass and bottom material (bucket) 3. Next pass, same direction as #2, tie in the root pass and top material (adapter). Keep adding passes, building from bottom up. Change directions so your puddle ends where the previous weld began. Vertical up. If you have to ask, don't do it tell you practice, and you won't learn it in an hour. Vertical down. Take your adapters and throw them in the scrap barrel, atleast you will know where they are at, because you will lose them in the dirt. Overhead. Same as horizontal, bottom beads first, lower heat/voltage, but keep your wire speed/amps higher. |
